We operate a busy ophthalmology practice in beautiful San Marcos, TX. We are looking to bring on 2 full-time Ophthalmic Technicians before summer. Ophthalmic technicians help patients by providing information, services, and assistance. Other duties include maintaining patient confidentiality, performing preliminary and diagnostic testing, helping with in-office procedures such as laser surgeries, and updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Skills needed are excellent verbal communication, organization, detail oriented, professionalism, multitasking, patient focused, and most of all, great teamwork ability. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation contingent upon experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
