The Medical Assistant/Technician position performs a wide variety of patient care activities.
Essential functions of the job:
- Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
- Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion of testing.
- Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; keep patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
- Document patient plan of care, tests and examination results in the electronic medical record (EHR/EMR System) as directed by the provider.
- Escalate non-routine issues, questions and/or concerns to the practice manager or physician.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
