Texas Eye Care Network, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a Fulltime Ophthalmic Technician to join our team located in Corpus Christi, TX.
About the Opportunity
Working with patients who have cataracts, corneal disease, glaucoma, diabetes, and surgical patients undergoing treatment for these diseases, the OA will work closely with the optometrist, ophthalmologist, and support staff in a clinic setting. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday with no weekends or major holidays.
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant or Ophthalmic Assistant / Tech experience
- Ability to perform patient work ups (VA, pressure, history, ancillaries)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience performing refractions
- Scribe experience
