Northwestern Mutual- Monroe is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Operations Manager who will specialize in the continuous improvement and optimization of our office. This person will be responsible for driving continued focus on client service and experience, systems, processes, and technology integrations. The role involves working with the firm’s current team to ensure vision alignment, execution of our strategic initiatives, and ensuring collaboration to service our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of proactiveness, attention to detail, and be organized and self-sufficient. This candidate will need to balance multiple priorities on an ongoing basis.
Essential duties:
- Manage a broad variety of professional operational tasks related to client policies, processes and systems for optimizing efficiencies, and overall technology integration
- Create and document SOPs for compliant ways of working
- Support team members by delegating tasks and streamlining approval processes
- Manage workflow of office
- Research, develop, and implement an office redesign plan by collaborating with other key stakeholders internally and externally
- Utilize various systems to run reports and create a dashboard for office performance and ongoing projects
- Must be proactive, go-getter and have a growth mindset
- Effectively build relationships and rapport with the team and leaders to be an effective change agent to implement new processes and structures
- Give exceptional customer service by helping clients where you can and escalating issues when appropriate
- Participate and help lead weekly and monthly team meetings and available trainings
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Administrative or Customer Service Leadership, big plus if in the financial services and/or insurance or investment industry.
- Ability to get Insurance and/or Investment licenses in the future (company sponsored)
- Experience in creating processes, systems and implementing change management for a small team to optimize performance
- Strong experience utilizing various computer systems (Microsoft Office, CRM, databases, etc) and excellent typing and accuracy skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary for $50,000-$60,000 commensurate with experience
- Bonus compensation for individual and firm accomplishments
