The Operations Administrative Assistant will be an integral member of the Operations team providing direct administrative support to Director's of Community Management (DCM) and Area Managers (AM). Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Arrange travel for Operations Directors and above
Organize calendars and schedule meetings on behalf of Directors and above
Assist Directors and above with their daily organizational tasks
Coordinate all Operations events, which include Associate Appreciation Days, Tenure Luncheons, Regional Meetings, etc.
Prepare reporting as directed by supervisor
Review, audit and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Order office supplies as needed
Assist with setting up new Operations members within corporate, which includes office setup
Maintain housing request inbox and correspond to all inquiries in a timely manner
Manage associate housing approval process and delinquency
Communicate organizational changes within the Directors & Sr Directors group to IT to ensure workflow and access are updated for a smooth transition
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following:
2-3 years administrative experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Yardi
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Well-versed in Property Operations processes preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Please note that this job position entails in-person office requirements for a minimum of 3 days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, located at Essex's corporate offices in Irvine, Woodland Hills, San Mateo, and Bellevue.

The salary range for this position is $29.81 - $41.83 per hour. New hires generally start between $29.81 - $35.58 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.
This role is also eligible to participate in Essex’s discretionary Annual Bonus program that is commensurate with the level of the position.
