Onboarding Specialist (BRONX - SPANISH SPEAKING)
The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for facilitating customer service to caregivers visiting the branch offices, being the face of the agency, and assisting with all employment inquiries and processes for caregivers in assigned facility. Our Onboarding Specialist will successfully onboard and integrate all qualifying talent into the company in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures. A successful Onboarding specialist ensures caregivers are assisted in however not limited to onboarding, payroll, and HR related inquiries. Our ideal candidate should be able to time manage, multitask, able to work independently and work within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Meet, greet, and act as point of contact for caregivers, addressing inquiries and concerns related however not limited to onboarding, payroll, HR, and coordination in their assigned facility.
- Screening and entering all qualifying employment inquiries into applicable systems, namely Salesforce for all visiting caregivers in assigned office
- Vetting and assisting with complete hiring process for walk-in caregivers and all assigned leads
- Track, maintain, and update assigned personnel records related however not limited to onboarding, coordination, payroll and HR in accordance with agency’s established guidelines
- Oversees supplies (PPE, office needs)
- Conduct new hire orientations required for onboarding
- Understands and adheres to state and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Manage telephone calls/emails in a supportive and professional manner
- Ensure complete and absolute confidentiality of employee information
Skills:
- HOME CARE: (Preferred)
- SPANISH (MUST)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Spanish
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks and must be flexible in an extremely fast-paced environment, yet stay organized
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software, namely Salesforce
- Optimistic, energetic, outgoing with great energy.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills - with internal and external staff
