POSITION SUMMARY
The Onboarding Specialist is an integral member of the team. This position represents the energy and drive to consistently increase the company’s pool of professional insurance agents. This employee maintains responsibility for recruiting partners, coordinating event attendance, and providing support to the company's partners, agents, and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
● Maximizes potential from outbound phone calls on a daily basis; initiates contact with potential independent insurance agents, medical groups, and business personnel.
● Accountable for initiating contact, creating interest, presenting an opportunity, and accurately requesting contracts on behalf of prospective agents.
● Responsible for setting appointments, registering agents for attendance events/training, and building a pipeline of potential partnerships.
● Supports company events and training by reaching out to candidates to fill attendance goals.
● Assists the Contracting department in reaching call metric goals, making follow up contact on outstanding contract issues, and agent acquisition.
● Portrays a positive company image and engaging in professional and friendly communications by actively listening to customer needs and inquiries to determine appropriate service actions
● Participates in continued training for Career Development and advancement within the company.
● Perform other duties as assigned
TEAM LEAD (IF APPLICABLE) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
● Conducts Quality Assurance by monitoring outbound phone calls on a daily basis; reviews calls for procedural accuracy, quality control, and call outcomes.
● Coordinates campaigns; from script development, call list distribution, campaign execution, and result reporting
● Provides training, guidance and mentoring for team members that are new to the producer onboarding department or for those that need re-training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
● High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
● 2-3 years of experience in an Outbound Call Center environment
● Excellent customer relationship skills
● Ability to multi-task
● Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors
