Job description

Cornerstone Building Brands Shelter Solutions business unit is hiring for a new role: Customer Onboarding and Training Specialist.

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers have the knowledge and skills to have an excellent buying experience furthering our goal of become the Premier provider of building materials. This role will focus on new Customer Onboarding (seamless navigation of our systems and processes); product knowledge education including new product introductions and where applicable, provide additional education that assists our customers in their desired growth goals. Additionally, this role will actively seek and incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve our training programs and educational materials. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales Enablement.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Build, implement and curate Customer Onboarding programs and processes for all Shelter businesses. This includes contact lists, start up processes, and how to navigate internal support functions easily and quickly within Cornerstone Building Brands
  • Unify customer training activities through a centralized calendar, tracking, and resource allocation
  • Deploy trainers/SMEs as needed
  • Create high-quality, engaging on-demand Training materials for certification, such as video tutorials, user guides, and interactive modules to cater to diverse customer learning needs
  • Develop comprehensive training curriculum that maximizes customer adoption, product usage, and retention rates
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams SMEs, including Sales Enablement, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to ensure training programs align with sales strategies, product updates, launches, and customer needs
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback regarding training effectiveness and incorporate insights to enhance training programs and education
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and Training methodologies to continuously improve the training materials and delivery methods
  • Identify training gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to develop new training content and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, customer participation, and performance metrics. Develop plans to improve CSAT / NPS scores of training programs over-time
  • Collaborate with cross functional SMEs to continuously improve training offerings based on customer feedback and changing market trends
  • Build a trusted relationship with Sales team
  • Develop structure to deploy omni-channel training strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience on a high performing sales or marketing team leading projects focused on customer training, sales enablement, and/or product learning and development
  • A strong understanding of sales and creating a positive customer experience, including sales & marketing content, tools, and Training
  • Familiarity with multimedia tools and software used to develop e-learning resources
  • Technical expertise with learning platforms and customer enablement platforms
  • Effective communication skills along with a strong customer-orientation
  • Solid understanding of the P&L, ROI analysis; have strong quantitative skills coupled with solid business foundation
  • Ability to build relationships with ease
  • Prior experience with data-based customer stratification preferred
  • Working knowledge of current adult learning methodologies and measurements
  • Collaborative work style – internal, external, horizontally, vertically
  • Understands analytics to ensure training and development is providing appropriate outcomes to deliver a premier customer experience
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess training program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 + 5% Bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
