Salary Range: $18.20 - 25.08
Pay rates are determined based on experience and internal equity.
Position Summary:
- Hires, orients, evaluates reception staff
- Oversees receptionist staff
- Works with Radiologists and DI Director for problem solving and new process development.
- Protocol scheduled cases
- Monitor schedule grid to assure procedures are not over booked
- Coordinates scheduling of inmates with LVCHO
- Monitor incoming PDF orders and electronic orders to make sure all patients are being contacted for appointments expediently
- Regularly monitors backlog of orders per modality and coordinates the necessary changes with the Director and Radiologists
- Monitors Lompoc Health imaging referrals and works with the Referral Coordinator to ensure authorizations are accurate and expedient
- Works with insurances to get Retro-Authorizations as needed
- Schedules exams and assists patients with prep instructions.
- Manages scheduling of all Clinical Clerical Aides for coverage at all imaging LVMC imaging facilities
- Must work well under stress or tight deadlines.
- Must work well with supervisors, co-workers, patients/residents, family members and visitors.

Position Qualifications:
- Education: High School or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years medical office experience. One year Medical office experience with LHD.
- Skills/Ability: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians. Detail oriented and thorough in patient screening, documentation, and RIS scheduling.
