Global Real Estate and Agricultural Investments maintain a portfolio invested in commercial real estate and agricultural mortgages, as well as real estate equities. Real Estate Investments sources and manages commercial real estate investments through seven regional field offices in the U.S. and International field offices in London, Tokyo, Mexico City and Santiago. The Office Manager would work for the Regional Director and staff of approximately 25 in Los Angeles, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant who is dependable, responsible and demonstrates a positive work ethic in a professional, time sensitive corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all administrative duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Maintain calendars and schedule meetings for the 6 Senior Directors in the office.
- Maintain client contact information in Outlook and Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create campaigns in Salesforce.
- Coordinate system and access set-up for new employees.
- Participate in the planning and logistics for office outings and events.
- Coordinate various on-site and off-site meetings with internal and external parties restaurant reservations and ordering food and beverage for the meetings as necessary.
Prepare travel & entertainment reimbursement reports for the 6 Senior Directors
Handle/resolve escalated internal and external issues.
Handle critical/confidential issues and information.
Prepare office budgets, process accounts payable and manage external office vendor accounts.
- Accountable for office supply inventory.
Ability to fax documents, answer telephones and take detailed telephone messages.
- Create and maintain an accurate, organized, and efficient filing system and filing room.
- Support the Debt and Equity Teams with various tasks, as needed.
Preferred Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant experience required.
- Highly PC proficient, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented, dependable, discreet, proactive & highly organized.
- Builds Relationships with internal and external clients.
- Must be diplomatic, thorough, customer-service minded, detailed and professional.
- Highly motivated, responsible, and resourceful.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the MetLife organization.
- Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills.
- Impeccable communication skills & phone etiquette.
Preferred:
- Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degree preferred.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $59900 to $79900. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
