· Maintain personnel files for all golf and Parks Department employees.
· Prepares payroll for all parks and golf course employees.
· Assists with preparing payroll for other Parks Department as needed.
· Does the year-end payroll reports.
· Tracks Parks Department employee’s attendance records and paid time off.
· Gathers the weekly payroll reports from the City Controller.
· Maintains Union Seniority list.
· Corresponds with Union.
· Prepares workers compensation claims.
· Prepares unemployment claims.
· Responsible for generating property damage reports.
· Prepares seasonal rehires and temporary employees paperwork for hire or re-hire for golf courses.
· Prepares information for on boarding.
· Prepares golf course sales tax for Indiana Department of Revenue.
· Files an application for ABC Permit on an annual basis.
· Attends Park Board Meetings takes minutes. Types minutes.
· Assists with preparing member packets for Park Board Meetings.
· Tracks all daily deposits for the Parks Department.
· Types corresponding letters and memorandums.
· Assists with the coordination of Parks Department special events.
· Answers incoming calls, greets customers and makes reservations.
· Working ability to prioritize assignments.
· Considerable ability to work well with others.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Working ability to operate standard office equipment.
· Good written and oral communication skills.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience: 5 years clerical experience. A business-related Associates Degree.
Working Conditions: Office setting.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit for extended periods.
· Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects and operate a keyboard.
· Ability to see within normal parameters.
· Ability to hear within normal range.
· Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s).
