Office Manager - San Francisco
This is an on-site position, and will be expected to be in the office Monday through Friday at our San Francisco office.

About the job:
We are seeking an Office Manager to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing streamlined administrative procedures, inventory control, company environment, and workplace experience, among other duties. We are looking for an energetic professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Our Office Manager should be well-organized and flexible, and they should enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse office environment.

This is an hourly position with a pay range of $28 to $38. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and Distribute mail and packages
- Managing supply orders, including ordering, unboxing, and organization of inventory
- Point person for maintenance, mailing/shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
- Communicate with vendors (i.e., cleaning staff, suppliers, etc.)
- Maintain detailed records of pricing and invoicing from vendors
- Oversee the stocking of snacks and refreshments (coffee machines, tea, etc) across the four office kitchens
- Keep common spaces clean (i.e., Kitchens, game room, hallways)
- Report to and collaborate with the Director, HR Team, and Marketing Manager
- Tackle Ad-hoc projects in conjunction with day-to-day tasks
- Assist in the planning and execution of company events and team-building activities
- Monitor and maintain office supplies
- Provide general support to visitors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment
Must Haves:
- Proven office management, workplace experience, or administrative experience
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Ability to communicate and negotiate pricing with vendors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- General computer skills with a knowledge of Google Suite and data entry
Nice to Have:
- Available immediately (Latest start date January 1, 2024)
- Additional Languages (Preferably Spanish)
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup
