Veolia is seeking an organised and efficient Office Manager to run administrative operations for our Bellevue office. As Office Manager, you play a critical role in maintaining the office environment for our engineering and management teams. This position requires on-site presence during normal working hours Monday through Friday and is not available as a remote/hybrid position.
As Office Manager, you serve as a primary point of contact and organisational touchpoint for the Bellevue location, as part of a larger North America Projects group. Responsibilities include managing site communication to ensure effective information flow within the team, organising and managing site infrastructure (maintaining building lease, maintenance contracts, office and kitchen supplies, etc.), maintaining site safety protocols (building access, EHS, safety drills, Fire Marshal), owning procurement for various non-recurring purchases made by our engineering staff, and maintaining an organised and presentable workspace for our employees and clients.
The ideal candidate will also be tech savvy, understanding current IT issues affecting the team and helping our IT team distribute information regarding ongoing issues or fixes. The Office Manager should also maintain a close relationship with HR/Benefits/Payroll and understand/communicate changes or clarifications in corporate communications.
Finally, the Office Manager is flexible and willing to take on assignments from Engineering, Project Management and Finance as needed, to ensure the continuing operation of the business.
Minimum requirements:
Ability to be on site in Bellevue during normal working hours Mon-Fri. The role does not allow for remote work.
Fluent communication skills in English.
Useful skills or abilities:
Experience with a corporate purchasing (EPR) system (SAP or other) to generate and view purchase orders, invoices, etc.
Experience working in a corporate environment with multiple office locations
Willingness and ability to problem solve, address changing needs and complete tasks in addition to general job responsibilities.
