Position: Office Manager
Carmel Pediatric Dentistry is a modern, safe, and enthusiastic environment for children and teens to receive and experience the highest quality dental care available. Job Duties Include:
- Welcome new and existing patients.
- Spend time getting to know the patient and learning about their specific dental needs and goals.
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments.
- Determine costs of treatment, insurance calculations and discuss financial options.
- Be available to answer any questions pertaining to dental care, treatment, and payment options.
- May assist with insurance claims follow up as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance standards.
- Assist with AR on a daily basis.
- Generation of reports for accounting purposes.
- Secure payments at the time of service and provide clear explanations about payment policies.
- Office hours: Monday thru Friday 7:30-5 pm. The average work week will consist of 32-36 hours.
Knowledge Expectations:
- Knowledge of overall dental practice operation
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures
- Knowledge of in-network vs out-of- network insurance
- Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures (especially emergency management)
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dental office management experience, preferably in a pediatric dental office setting.
