Job Summary
Office Coordinator will be responsible for performing clerical, administrative, and facilities duties in the office. Additionally, the incumbent will take part in various ad hoc tasks and projects included below.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Book appointments, greet customers, schedule conference rooms, and maintain an organized office environment
- Maintain office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels
- Assist with clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filing
- Assist receptionist with answering phone calls, greeting guests, and directing guests and employees to conference rooms
- Lead office tours and meet & greets for new hires; prepare welcome packages and show them evacuation routes and meet up locations
- Ordering and keeping track of inventory for supplies, food, beverages, etc. for kitchens, conference rooms and pantries
- Ensure office conference rooms and common spaces are clean and organized prior to and following meetings
- Maintain and clean kitchen equipment including coffee machine.
- Perform occasional cleaning duties as needed (i.e. trash removal, cleaning and restocking break rooms, etc.)
- Maintain and improve office tidiness and organization to create an efficient workplace
- Manage the cleaning crew to ensure office cleanliness
- Organize and distribute all company swag through our request system
- Assist with various projects for multiple departments and individuals
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Flexible professional with a 2+ years of corporate experience (construction industry preferred)
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Salary Information
- To the extent this position is performed in New York City, the annual salary offered for this role is $55,000.
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
