Office Assistant/Receptionist

Howard M. Nakamura D.D.S is looking for an outgoing college student or someone who is looking for Part Time work.

Front Office Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments
- Provide excellent customer support and ensure a positive experience for patients

- Greeting Patients

- Assisting Patients with paperwork

- Filing

- Letters to Doctors and Patients

- Seating Patients

- Printing and copies

- Assist Office Manager with front office duties

Back Office Duties:

-Clean and sterilize tools and chairs after each patient.

- Cleaning chairs after each patients

- Sterilizing tools

- Putting tools away after cleaning

- Cleaning Equipment

- Cleaning Rooms after each patient

- Closing the back office

Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Knowledge of Ortho office procedures and terminology is preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Mostly afternoons with some mornings.

We are open Mon. Tues. Thurs. & Fri. Off on Weds. and Weekends. On a normal day you would come in at 1:30-5pm if we needed you in the mornings you would be coming in from 9-5, hours do vary depending on school schedules as we are busy in the afternoons during the school year and mornings in the summer.

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Experience:

• Orthodontic receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
• Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
