McDonald Carano LLP is actively seeking a full-time Office Assistant/Courier to join our Reno Office. Our firm has two office locations, in Reno and Las Vegas, supporting Nevada’s business law needs since 1949.

Our Office Assistants/Couriers are essential to our law firm and support all team members of the Firm. Your days will be busy and your duties varied.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: These duties are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Make hand deliveries in the Reno, Carson City, Virginia City and surrounding areas of Northern Nevada.
• Make copies, scan documents and complete other miscellaneous office projects.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchens, conference rooms and copy rooms.
• Prepare/set-up/clean-up conference rooms for meetings that require refreshments, snacks and meals.
• Distribute all incoming deliveries.
• Relief coverage for the Receptionist.
• Daily interaction with clients and attorneys.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to operate office equipment such as copiers, phones, printers, binding equipment, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Good communication and interaction skills
• Clean driving record & full-coverage car insurance.
• Ability to drive in all weather, including snow and ice. Safe Driving Certification or Training a plus, but not required.
• Reliable transportation with valid Nevada driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance
• May require lifting up of 25-30 lbs. on occasion

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
