Mesisca Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Office Assistant. The Office Assistant provides support services as follows: Medical billing and Payroll Processing, Medical Insurance Verification, Phone and Email Correspondence with Patients and Doctors, and various clerical work including faxing, copying and answering office calls.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Medical billing and Payroll Processing; Correspondence with Physical Therapists; Insurance carrier verification and billing verification; Physician office correspondences via phone, fax or email; Patient plan of care script transcription and communication with physician; Other clerical tasks.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills. A positive and upbeat personality is a must. Good oral and written communication skills; Computer skills required: Microsoft Office suite (Word and Excel); Ability to work independently; Ability to multitask; Quick learner, takes initiative, reliable and prompt; Good attendance record; Must be honest and trustworthy.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience required in all of the above. Experience will be verified.
SALARY: Hourly rate will be determined based on experience.
