POSITION PURPOSE:
Working under the general supervision of the Director of Social Services, this role encompasses a broad range of clerical support tasks, ranging from routine to moderately difficult. These include welcoming visitors in person and over the phone, handling data entry and managing records. Additionally, the position involves proficient word processing skills for typing various correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials. Duties also extend to any related tasks delegated by the Social Services Director.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Must have working knowledge of word processing software.
- Basic accounting principles.
- Regulations and related local and state guidelines.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational skills and good interpersonal skills.
Ability to:
- Perform detailed clerical work including establishing and maintaining filing and recordkeeping systems;
- Prepare routine business reports and correspondence;
- Must be computer literate.
