Office Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong administrative and clerical skills.

Duties:
- Perform various administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing the office calendar
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle data entry tasks, including updating patient information and billing details
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining office documents and records
- Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and process claims
- Support office management in day-to-day operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office preferred
- Strong administrative and clerical skills
- Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.
