POSITION SCOPE
The Office Administrator will be involved with the daily operation of the office. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our Placitas New Mexico Office.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Provide customer support and service.
- Implement daily office procedures.
- Process all daily mail.
- Maintain Word documents and Excel spreadsheets as necessary.
- Process Payroll Timecards.
- Maintain and order all office supplies.
- Duplicate/scan/email necessary documents.
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software and databases.
- Work closely with HR Department in maintaining proper onboarding procedures for new hires.
- Account Payables and Receivables: process gravel tickets, customer invoices and payments; prepare deposits and ROA list.
- Past Due Accounts: contact past due vendors to request payment.
- Process weekly and monthly gravel inventory reports and forward to appropriate persons.
- Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1-year office, secretarial, or clerical experience.
- Notary Public or willing to obtain notary public certificate.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Friendly and approachable with strong ability to be a collaborative team member.
- Knowledge of office and business routines.
- Must have prior experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and good knowledge of email and internet.
