Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing administrative support to our staff. Duties:
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Maintain office supplies and ensure they are well-stocked
- Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting materials
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
