The Office Administrator will provide general support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks including answering incoming calls, managing the reception area, mail, requisitioning supplies, organizing office communication, helping with Retail accounts for 1979 and activities on a day-to-day basis. Looking for a high energy individual to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls for 1979
- Processing and directing mail and incoming packages or deliveries
- Ordering and taking stock of office supplies
- Greeting and directing visitors and new staff to the organization
- Maintaining Retail Accounts
- Input purchases/invoices
- Assist with AR and ACH
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Finding ways to improve administrative processes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Working knowledge of mail processes
- Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly in order to meet deadlines

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize financial applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
- 1+ years of AR/AP experience
- 1+ years of experience in Office Administration or related field
- Associates degree or Certificate in Finance/Business Administration or related field
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, operate a 10 key calculator or PC; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
