How would you like to help drive the communications strategy for the largest state MMIS implementation in the US? We're looking for an experienced OCM Communications Specialist who can support the goals and objectives of a complex, multi-year modular system implementation. Essential Duties:
- Coordinate activities with Organizational Change Management (OCM) team to assess stakeholders and define engagement plans.
- Manage communication plans to develop understanding and acceptance of impacts on specific job roles, policies, technology impacts and business practices.
- Design robust communications matrix and coordinate project communication activities
- Develop appropriate messaging to convey relevant aspects of change events.
- Develop talking points, presentations, and briefings for effective program management.
- Assist in developing strategic marketing plans and activities for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate and educate the user community on administrative system progress, objectives, and requirements to include a means by which to evaluate and ensure organizational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Change Management, or a related field with 3+ years' experience in professional writing
- Direct experience communicating to stakeholders at all levels
- Prior experience working within the public sector
- Adapt at learning client business, creating internal partnerships and recommending communication strategies that fit the client culture and business model
- Ability to build and support client relations
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Able to collaborate effectively with a team
