- Work with the Head of Sports Programming to oversee the on-air programming plan for TUDN and sports properties across all TU networks
- Schedule all sports programming for Univision, UniMas and Galavision, including live studio, magazine programs and live events
- Serves as point of contact on day-to-day basis with Univision / UniMas / ViX programming teams to maximize programming synergies and optimize cross platform strategic benefit
- Interface regularly with sales teams to ensure inventory & capacity needs are met
- Oversees the execution of all sports programming across TU platforms
- Schedule and publish the TUDN grid, ensuring scheduling accuracy
- Monitor all match schedules to confirm dates and times are correct and distribute all relevant information cross functionally
- Communicate relevant program information such as scheduling to all pertinent departments (i.e., Programming, Sports Production, Operations, Promotions, Sales, Traffic, Research)
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Management or similar
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in sports programming
- Excellent knowledge of current sporting events and a passion for sports
- Familiarity with core TU sports properties
- Knowledge of Nielsen audience ratings system is required
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
- Tenacious, driven, energetic and a high degree of professional integrity.
Software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency in RSG (Rights Logic) and Title Registry
Language
- Bilingual English/Spanish
