Benefits:
- Department: Medical Oncology
- Schedule: 7a-7p with a weekend and holiday rotation.
- Hospital: Ascension St. Mary's
- Location: Saginaw, MI
Perform basic patient care activities to patients in assigned area.
- Assist with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- All other duties as assigned.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certified Nurse Aide preferred. Certificate from a Nursing Assistant training program or CNA state certification, equivalent education or recent related work experience preferred. Will also consider those enrolled in an accredited RN program with completion of 1 adult clinical rotation.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
