Major Responsibilities:
· Supervise activities of Non-Foods Department team members
· Write weekly work schedule
· Assign daily tasks to Non-Foods Department team members
· Complete all departmental paperwork
· Control gross profits and shrink
· Pack out merchandise as required
· Ensure department presents a favorable image to customers
· Order product and maintain proper inventory levels
· Ensure product is properly displayed for sale
· Ensure all products are properly received, logged and stored
· Ensure proper maintenance of department
· Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures
· Ensure proper sanitation of department and equipment
Minimum Requirements:
· Previous experience in Non-Foods and operating department in absence of Department Manager (HABA, Grocery, Dairy Department knowledge will be considered)
· Previous experience ordering Non-Foods merchandise
· Extensive knowledge of Non-Foods Department operations
· Must successfully complete Non-Foods Job Description and Physical Job Demands form
· Must be able to work in any Zallie location
· Ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong communication skills (oral and written)
· Must possess strong leadership qualities
· Must have satisfactory to exemplary work record
· Must have recommendation of management
· Must be willing to work in any Zallie-Somerset store location

Pay: $18.00 per hour
