The position days and hours are either Monday - Thursday 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm or Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

YOU: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Custodian to join our Facilities Management Team.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the cleaning of the facility, including trash removal, floor cleaning, general dusting and cleaning. Sets up building for special events and for use by outside agencies or groups. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
The Custodian works under the direction of the Head Custodian and Director of Facilities and Maintenance in accordance with District Policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Cleans assigned areas of the facility, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, common areas and grounds.
Vacuums and cleans floors.
Removes trash.
Assists with snow removal from walkways and other areas.
Sets up for groups and special events or activities by staff or outside usage.
Performs general maintenance tasks related to the upkeep and operation of the facility.
Oversees the general security of the facility during regular shift.
Performs other duties as requested.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School Diploma/GED required.
EXPERIENCE: Less than one (1) year job related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Effective communication skills.

Has the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers.
Has the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Has the ability to perform responsibilities without the necessity of close supervision.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's License.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
