As a Networking Engineer with a specialization in Audio-Visual Systems, you will be a key contributor to our technical team, focusing on the seamless integration of cutting-edge audio-visual solutions within robust network infrastructures. Leveraging your expertise in both networking and audio-visual technologies, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining sophisticated systems that elevate the audio-visual experience for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audio- Visual System Design and Installation:
- Design and implement audio-Visual Systems for various environments, such as meeting rooms, conference rooms, court rooms, and other collaborative spaces.
- Integrate audio-Visual Systems with existing network infrastructure.
- Install and configure audio-visual equipment, including but not limited to projectors displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
- Ensure proper cabling and connectivity for reliable system performance.
2. Network Integration:
- Integrate audio-Visual Systems with existing IT networks, ensuring seamless communication and compatibility.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure to support audio-visual requirements.
3. System Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to audio-Visual Systems and networks.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing concerns and inquires.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, to align audio-visual solutions with organizational needs.
- Provide clear and concise communication to end-users regarding system usage and issue resolution.
5. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of audio-visual configurations, network setups, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Create user guides and training materials to facilitate efficient system utilization.
6. Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in Audio-visual technologies and networking.
- Make recommendations for system upgrades and improvements based on industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Four plus years of work experience in Information Technology and Audio-Visual Technology.
- Proven experience in designing, installing, and maintaining audio-Visual Systems.
- In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology, clients and stakeholders.
