Network Engineer - Contract - Onsite Requirement

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide expert network design and architecture support on existing projects, develop strategic plans aligned with our business goals, and recommend technology solutions to enhance business value. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SDWAN, Palo Alto technologies (including Prisma Cloud, Prisma Access, and Prisma Access Secure Access Service Edge), fiber technologies, and Cisco WAN/LAN design, backed by a current CCIE certification.

Objectives:

- Provide immediate network design and architecture support on existing projects.

- Develop a strategic architecture plan that aligns with the company's business goals and technological capabilities.

- Recommend scalable, sustainable, and secure technology solutions to drive business value.

- Facilitate the adoption of architectural best practices and frameworks.

- Assess the current state of the network architecture and identify areas for improvement.

Scope of Work

- Assess current network architecture and make recommendations for improvements.

- Design and implement scalable and reliable network solutions to meet current and future business needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide network architecture guidance.

- Implement security measures to protect the network infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the network team.

Key Deliverables:

- Project Architecture Support: Immediate work on existing projects requiring network architecture support.

- Design Plans & Execution: Develop a Strategic Network Architecture Plan, including a roadmap, implementation guidelines, and investment priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders for execution strategy.

- Architecture Assessment Report: Document findings from the current architecture assessment, detailing current state, gaps, and recommendations for improvement.

- Target Architecture Document: Detailed documentation of the target architecture, including models and diagrams.

- Roadmap and Implementation Plan: A comprehensive plan outlining the phased implementation of the target network architecture.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Network Architect in complex network environments.

- Must be familiar with and have implemented overlay networks

- Current CCIE certification is mandatory.

- Extensive knowledge of SDWAN, Palo Alto technologies (Prisma Cloud, Prisma Access, Prisma Access Secure Access Service Edge), fiber technologies, and Cisco WAN/LAN design.

- Ability to develop strategic plans that align with business goals and technological capabilities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, degree preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
