Network Real Estate Specialist

Must have regulatory legal and network experience and enjoy helping teams understand and adhere to standards. You have extensive knowledge of wireless communications and you are able to explain things in a simple easy to understand way. You are a critical thinker and a strong problem solver with an interest in and aptitude for research and analysis. You are energized by the opportunity to share information with team members and partners across the business. You will need to have: Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Three or more years of relevant work experience. Even better if you have: Experience in FAA and FCC rules and general regulatory procedures Knowledge of wireless communications engineering concepts and technologies. Fuze process flow experience Ability to navigate FAA FCC and State Historical databases for regulatory resolutions. What youll be doing... Youll play a vital role in keeping our wireless network compliant. Were a Federal Communications Commission licensee and that comes with a number of legal Responsibilities. Youll help our submarket team understand the laws and regulations and Review documentation for HQ specialists to submit to regulators on behalf of the business. We take our responsibilities seriously and youll be a key figure in making sure we always meet our legal obligations. Evaluating network projects to ensure regulatory compliance. Interfacing with VZW Headquarters Regulatory Department to obtain Construction and In-Service approvals and to clear any discrepancies for existing sites. Identifying and mitigating compliance risks with partners in the business. Analyzing interpreting and monitoring relevant government regulations. Managing vendors on every step of the regulatory filing e.g. AM Study NEPA NationalEnvironmental Protection Act NEPA and State Historic Preservation Organization SHPO. Ensuring proper FAA FCC NEPA and SHPO requirements are met. Performing Project Management functions for the Regulatory team. Partnering with VZW Headquarters Regulatory counterparts and Market POCs to develop and streamline processes which impact positively on the regulatory functions. Performing internal audits for RF Microwave and towers ensuring that filings are done on time with appropriate documentation. Evaluating RFE Mitigation to ensure compliance and provide solutions to meet Landlord requirements.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
