RESPONSIBILITIES

Network Design

Design, plan, and implement core network solutions to meet the company's business and technical requirements.

Ensure network architecture is scalable, resilient, and supports future growth.

Cisco and Palo Alto Expertise:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

Manage Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation, policy management, and threat mitigation.

Retail Technology Integration:

Integrate core network infrastructure with various retail technologies such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Collaborate with retail technology vendors to optimize network performance for specific retail applications.

Network Security:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect the core network from threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Network Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network resources for maximum efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Core Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.

Familiarity with retail-specific technologies and requirements.

Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
