The Network Email Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing assigned network marketing campaigns from inception to execution. Developing communications involves extensive collaboration with internal stakeholders that results in accurate and compelling messaging distributed to worldwide audiences. Messaging and timing of communications are determined by network marketing objectives, and communications are primarily sent via network-facing (B2B) email and web-based channels. This role demonstrates skill in copy editing/proofreading, content formatting, and managing the production of email and web-based communications in marketing automation platforms, client relationship management (CRM), and content management systems (CMS). The ultimate goal is to provide news, action items, and reference materials to Virtuoso Members, Partners, and Staff with the best possible presentation to drive audience engagement. This role supports business objectives by communicating the value of Virtuoso’s programs, products, and brand identity in tactical campaigns and ongoing initiatives, with an eye towards regional relevance and global consistency.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage Virtuoso network Marketing Communications across multiple channels including one-off emails, drip campaigns, recurring e-newsletters, website content, and app notifications.
- Develop and execute network marketing digital communications, which includes scheduling and adhering to schedules, sourcing and editing content, producing creative, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing freelance copywriters and designers, uploading creative assets, and deploying campaigns.
- Collaborate with Member and Partner Relations, Brand Leadership, Product Marketing, and regional teams to understand products, initiatives, and business goals to produce accurate and compelling network Marketing Communications.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Network Marketing Communications to develop processes and procedures to increase efficiency and enhance the performance of network Marketing Communications.
- Collaborate with colleagues in international regions on the ongoing development and implementation of regionalized network Marketing Communications. This includes training colleagues on processes, providing feedback on content, and assisting with deployment.
- Manage Member and Partner content in network marketing initiatives, ensuring deliverables are met and applicable approvals and signoffs occur before deployment.
- Facilitate the internal review and approval process for network communications, providing feedback and implementing feedback from internal and external groups to ensure the most effective presentation.
- Facilitate the deployment of network communications on time and on budget and escalate blocking issues for resolution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Production department for scheduling and budgeting.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Data Segmentation Manager and internal teams to select targeted audience lists for emails.
- Manage content and implement best practices with marketing systems and applications including HubSpot, SharePoint, SmartSheet, Microsoft Teams, Zoho CRM, WebDam, ClickUp, etc.
- Complete quality assurance of digital Marketing Communications, ensuring compatibility with web browsers and email clients and all links, images, subject lines, personalized fields, and audiences are accurate and adhering to best practices.
- Attend educational seminars and webinars to refine skills and keep current on travel and marketing industry trends and developments.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field
- 2+ years’ professional experience, preferably in a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, or communications
- 2+years’ experience managing Email Marketing programs/campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including excellent editing and grammar capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and demonstrate a proactive style

Travel Requirements:
- Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year).
- Travel will be primarily domestic but may include some international.
Type/Nature of Contacts:
- External: Frequent contact with independent contractors based on project requirements.
- Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with clerical/technical personnel and managers outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
