The FixHRs has been contracted to fill the role of Network Administrator for an organization in Trenton, NJ.
Job Description
FCC is looking for a Senior Network Administrator/architect to direct IT personnel and teams to ensure that an organization’s computer systems and networks remain secure and reliable throughout the day. In this role, senior administrators are ultimately responsible for managing the use of wide area networks (WANs), local area networks (LANs), and organization-specific networks. They also take a high-level overview of information technology needs while managing teams that maintain computer networks, monitor network availability, and collect data to enhance security and reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Networking
o Understands the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
o Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate LANs & WANs.
· Telephony (optional)
o Assists with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches.
o Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as Innovator seating assignments change.
· Internal Systems
o Assists in supporting corporate applications, internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc.
o Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving.
o Helps install and improve computer software and network equipment.
· New Hire Administration
o Creates network and email accounts for new users.
o Sets up computers for new users and ensures delivery of equipment to users in different locations if necessary.
o Updates company phone lists and email address books
· Asset Management
o Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
o Assists with the purchase of software, hardware and other IT supplies.
o Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.
· Communication
o Listens to others and accepts input from team members.
o Clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally.
o Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective and professional.
o Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner.
Skills Required/Experience:
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Good organizational skills
· Advanced college diploma or university degree in the field of business administration and/or computer science or 10 years equivalent work experience
· Experience in technology infrastructure planning and management.
· Experience and/or ability to analyze workflows to provide efficient IT solutions to the relevant business needs.
· Knowledge of SEC and NFA cybersecurity requirements and cybersecurity industry best practices is a plus.
· Knowledge of common information security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and SOC2 is a plus

This is an onsite position.
