Location: Eureka, CA
Gross Weekly Pay Range: $3600-$4100 (travel stipends included)
Schedule: either 7on/7off or 8on/6off; day/afternoon shifts (10 hour).
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate use of drugs
- Performs or oversees the dispensing of controlled and noncontrolled drugs to inpatients and outpatients
- Perform or oversee the preparation of IVs, TPN (Adults and Neonates), chemotherapy, and other preparations for IV administration
- Checking of all medications prior to dispensing
- Patient education and counseling regarding drug therapy as needed
- Provision of oral and written consultations with other health care professionals regarding drug therapy selection and management
- Drug therapy monitoring and municating relevant findings and remendations to other healthcare professionals who are also responsible for the patients care
- Provide the best care and service to every person, every time
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the Hospital Information System and Pharmacy ponent
- Perform documentation in patients chart which is timely, accurate, and concise per departmental policies/procedures
- Provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient/family centered
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacist in the State of California
- Must have at least 1-year of inpatient experience
- Must be COVID vaccinated, no exceptions
