Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing pany, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for an exciting travel opportunity at a hospital in California.

Employment Type: Travel/Contract; Full Time
Position: Staff Pharmacist
Setting: Hospital - Inpatient
Schedule: 7 on 7 off rotation
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks+

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications to inpatient units
• Review medication orders for appropriateness, potential drug interactions, and allergies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Provide drug information and clinical support to medical staff, nursing staff, and patients
• Participate in medication therapy management and consult services
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to best practices
• Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles
• Adhere to all hospital policies, regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar pharmacy information system
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of medication therapy management
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends as needed
