In this role, you will:
- Provide day-to-day project management support for MPTE projects including coordination of initiatives, schedule management, and reporting; ensure the project management tasks are performed in accordance with the principles established by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Create and maintain program documentation to include, but not limited to, integrated master plans, integrated master schedules, Gantt charts, critical path analysis, plans of action and milestones (POAMs), work breakdown schedules, status reports, and user reports when and where required for the Naval Analytic Studies Program, Baseline Project, My Navy Learning, Training Assessment Framework, and other research efforts.
- Provide management reports to include required information from applicable management systems/databases, format data for reports/presentations, and present reports.
- Manage and collaborate with diverse teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders and team-members while executing dynamic R&D studies and training modernization projects, taking products from conception to implementation.
- Research new or improved training technologies to modernize and optimize training outcomes and implement programs or policies.
- Analyze policy documents and alternatives to improve training efficacy and quality, and assist with associated policies.
- Provide quick reaction policy analysis in response to CNO, CNP, CNETC, and Division Director.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, and business process improvement.
- Experience leading and collaborating with diverse teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders and team-members.
- Experience working with Navy training systems, or work in Navy Manpower, Personnel, Training & Education (MPTE).
- Ability to manage and collaborate with diverse teams consisting of internal and external stakeholders and generate and present executive-level products to report progress, identify risks, and make recommendations.
- 10% travel required.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Active-duty Navy experience.
- Experience in Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
- Experience in curriculum development and Ready-Relevant Learning (RRL).
