Job Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) delivers Applied Behavior Analysis services to youth in foster care in therapeutic residential campus or community setting. The BCBA serves as part of an integrated team of Behavior Analysis professionals, therapists, and caregiving staff to meet the clinical and behavioral needs of at-risk youth.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Demonstrating Behavior Analytic skills from the BACB 5th edition task list.
- Delivering behavioral services to youth.
- Providing behavior skills training to parent/caregivers.
- Completing Preference Assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Completing accurate and timely documentation consistent with agency standards, rules and regulations, and Medicaid requirements.
- Collaborating with case managers, foster parents, and other child welfare professionals.
- Maintaining a minimum rate of 60% billable hours.
- Reviewing behavior plans with case managers for approval.
- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Participating in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program implementation.
Evening and weekend hours available.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Current Medicaid provider enrollment preferred.
- At least 21 years of age.
- First Aid and CPR certified or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (classes available onsite).
- Valid Florida driver’s license with no record of criminal driving offense or license suspension.
- Insurable under CHN’s current auto insurance policy.
- Must successfully complete and maintain FDLE clearance, Federal background, and state criminal background check and sexual predator screening.
