SAIC’s Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic division is seeking a Part Time Casual Naval Engineering SME. This work can be performed remotely, with 25% travel to Little Creek, VA, San Diego, CA, and New London, CT.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in US Navy Engineering.
- This is an exciting new opportunity to join us in supporting our (U.S.) Fleet and Coalition partners with comprehensive programmatic and technical support for In-Service and emerging Inertial Navigation Systems and Geospatial Information and Services.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Fifteen (15) years of experience in US Navy Systems Engineering to include:
- Technology Analysis and Assessment
- Design Definition
- Development of Systems Specification
- Systems Analysis
- Systems Architecture
- Systems/Equipment Integration
- Test & Evaluation Criteria
- Logistics support of C4ISR requirements
DESIRED EXPERIENCE WITH:
• Positional Navigation and Timing (PNT)
• Developing Lab Strategies
• Managing Government lab and warehouse facilities.
• Managing System Engineering processes and practices.
• Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
