Job Summary/Objective
Lead our efforts with our key national distributors to drive our sales efforts across all product categories. The role is responsible for building relationships with our key customers corporate level buying staff, product management and marketing personnel to help drive preference for our products. In addition, this role is responsible for setting the strategic framework for each national account while helping to drive specific initiatives into the individual regions.
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within specified accounts to bolster market presence in the wire and cable, electrical products, and engineered solutions sectors.
- Cultivate, strengthen, and sustain long-term relationships with existing clients through regular communication, updates, and strategic account reviews.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by effectively balancing core business pursuits with strategic sales initiatives.
- Analyze sales trends, metrics, and client feedback to optimize account management approaches for maximum performance and client satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies in the market to inform sales tactics and product positioning.
- Maintain extensive product knowledge to effectively match offerings with client needs.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and applications to facilitate informed purchasing decisions and strengthen client trust.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and establish a pipeline strategy to ensure a consistent flow of sales opportunities.
- Liaise with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to National Sales and customer experience.
