Senior Technical Consultant

Acceptable candidates will have more than 5 years of experience with their products (Syteline, INFOR CSI), a 4-year degree, US Citizenship, and Residency.  They will have consultancy experience (external preferred). Strong communication skills and the ability to customize products to merge with the cloud and the client's requirements. 

Position Description

A Technical Consultant is a SyteLine developer with 2 plus years of experience who provides billable services to customers in support of their SyteLine system.  Depending on your skill set, a Technical Consultant may also provide other development or technical services, which may be unrelated to SyteLine.

Responsibilities

A Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for delivering services to customers through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, analysis, formulating solutions to business issues, documenting specifications, estimating projects, development, testing, debugging, and project delivery to the customer.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•       Microsoft .NET technologies, including T-SQL, VB.Net, and SQL Server Reporting Services

•       A degree in a technical discipline is preferred

•       Enterprise Resource Planning system basic knowledge

•       Previous consulting experience is a plus

•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•       Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

•       Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects

•       Strong customer service attitude

•       Strong self-motivation but not afraid to ask for help

•       Hold yourself and your work to high standards

•       Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

•       High energy level; ability to persist

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

Ability to travel, as required, in either the most efficient or the most cost-effective mode, as determined by Management.  Reasons for travel may include are not limited to, onsite customer work, internal meetings, customer meetings, and sales support.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.
