The NAs/CNAs Facility at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a full-time member. This position will be located in Honolulu, Hawaii and will be responsible for providing quality care to our elderly clients in a facility setting. As an individual contributor, the NAs/CNAs Facility will work closely with other team members to ensure the health and wellbeing of our clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time salary position in the healthcare/medical field with a compensation range of $18 to $20 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities:
- Provide daily physical and emotional care to elderly clients in a facility setting
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor clients' overall health and wellbeing
- Foster a safe and calm environment for clients while promoting independence and dignity
- Maintain accurate records of clients' care and progress
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend training sessions and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) certification in the state of Hawaii
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with elderly clients
- Familiarity with medication administration and basic medical procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
