SalaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchant Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Point-of-Sale company - Finturf. The role involves maintaining accurate records, generating reports, resolving issues with merchants, and conducting risk assessments.
Location : Glendale, CA (preferred) or Remote (US ONLY - not accepting applications from other countries)
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage day-to-day Merchant Lifecycle responsibilities , including obtaining onboarding documents and performing risk screening and assessments.
- Maintain the necessary merchant management tools and solutions to ensure all merchant and funding data are up to date.
- Update and generate underwriting reports to fulfill internal and external compliance and reporting obligations
- Manage merchant operational, reconciliation, and financial inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up actions.
- Resolve issues with merchants, document consumer matters, and conduct risk assessments.
- Monitor merchant accounts and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Review consumer transactions and perform risk analysis.
Resolve consumer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years in a Point-of-Sale company or payment fintech experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of merchant onboarding and management experience.
- E-commerce/Fintech experience and knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in payment processing, funding controls and card acquisition is a must.
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively in a start-up dynamic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- People management skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Salary : $60k - $100k
