Job Description
Aston Carter is hiring for HYBRID Medicare Open Enrollment positions for a large hospital in Chicago! Candidates must be able to commute downtown 2+ days per week!
Description:
- Reviews reports and makes adjustments, additions, and deletions based on enrollment rules for Medicare recipients
- Initiate, verify, examine, and maintain the confidential credentials process for all professional applicants
- Examine application for completeness and all required documentation.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicates information to the patient regarding questions about their coverage
- Collects authorization numbers in appropriate systems as applicable.
- Provides professional and constructive environment for communication across units/departments and resolves operational issues.
- May attend intra/interdepartmental meetings which involve walking within the campus
- Communicates customer satisfaction issues to appropriate individuals.
- Demonstrates teamwork by helping co-workers within and across departments.
- Communicates effectively with others, respects diverse opinions and styles, and acknowledges the assistance and contributions of others.
- Interacts with internal customers to provide excellent support service to staff in departments which provide direct patient care.
- Accommodates all levels of communication ability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of open enrollment experience (Medicare preferred)
- Microsoft Office experience including MS Access
- Knowledge of HIPPA standards
