SalaryBedford Regional Urology is looking for a hardworking, patient-centered Medical Assistant/Secretary to help assist patients and the providers. The MA will be responsible for clinical and secretarial duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Answering patient calls and checking in patients in a courteous manner
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Complete various secretarial tasks (i.e., scanning, faxing, filing, etc.)
- Assist with rooming patients and taking vitals
- Obtaining and updating medical histories and medications
- Charting/Documenting in the EHR system
- Assisting Physician/Physician Assistant with various tasks
- Completing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent
- Preferable completion of an accredited CMA program
- Experience in an office setting, urology experience preferred
