Performs secretarial and general office work under the general direction of management. Types reports and correspondence and performs other clerical duties or tasks as required. The position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide clerical support to physicians and administrative personnel
• Assist with the coordination of fellowship, residency and medical student programs.
• Collect data, create databases/spreadsheets to produce reports.
• IDX certification may be required to input physician billing component into IDX system and Jeff Chart.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
*This position is a Part Time role, 9am-1pm and Monday-Friday shift*
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Medical secretarial experience in related field. Knowledge of medical terminology and computers (hardware/software) and printers.
