SalaryWe seek a medical assistant/Medical Assistant to join our team in Flushing, NY.
- Answer phones, schedule patients, and answer questions about patient scheduling
- Follow up with patients to ensure their satisfaction with the quality of information received from our clinic.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, typing letters, scanning pages, faxing documents, etc.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Provide professional customer service for all patients who call the office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or Director of Operations
As a Medical Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist healthcare professionals in documenting patient encounters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and comprehensive medical records. Your duties will include:
- Shadowing healthcare providers during patient visits and documenting the encounter in real-time
- Recording patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs
- Assisting with medical procedures and patient care as directed by the healthcare provider
- Transcribing medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Organizing and maintaining patient files and records
- Providing administrative support to the healthcare team as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.81 per hour
