Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect appropriate demographic and insurance information including addresses, phone numbers and preferred method of communication
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Handle customer support inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent listening and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Prior optometry experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- High school diploma or equivalent
