Medical Receptionist

We seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients visiting our medical office. Your primary responsibility will be to greet patients, schedule appointments, and assist with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient care

SKILLS
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical office / medical spa procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with phone systems and electronic medical record (EMR) software such as Patient Now or similar systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
