Ophthalmology practice seeks friendly, experiencedreceptionist to join our team for a unique, “transition” position. Primarily telephone work for 3 – 4 months before full training in a new software program. Full scope of receptionist duties will be incorporated upon software transition.
Must be detail-oriented, thorough, flexible, patient, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Detailed documentation with emphasis on spelling and grammar is required. Prior experience in a professional office setting preferred. Successful work history and traditional work ethic are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive, cooperative attitude, a passion for customer service, a commitment to teamwork, and serve our practice with integrity, excellence and compassion. Must be able to follow specific, methodical direction and processes and display a pleasant demeanor at all times.
M-F, 8:00 – 5:00. Hours may fluctuate some during the initial 3-4 month period. Competitive starting pay. Other benefits (once eligibility is met) include group health insurance with monthly $400 contribution toward premium, vacation, sick-leave, paid holidays, and participation in 401k following first year’s employment.
